How many people can be seated in the barn?

Seating is available for 300 people

Do you have tables and chairs?

Yes, and it is required that our tables and chairs be used for all events. If you are having over 300 people, outside vendors can be used for the additional tables and chairs that are needed.

What are the bathroom facilities?

Dunkled Acres owns their own portable toilets, they are $125 each to rent and we have 4 of them.
We have an indoor bathroom in the bridal dressing area.
Additional arrangements can be made for guests/clients with special needs.
It is part of our future plans to have more on site restrooms.

Can we serve alcohol at our wedding reception/event?

Yes, all alcohol must be served and managed by our exclusive professional bartending vendor, Additional information can be provided upon request. If alcohol is being served at your event, no children under the age of 12 are permitted.

Can we get married next to the water or in the woods?

Yes and Yes. There are multiple beautiful sites on the property, some right next to the water and several great locations in the “woods”.

What about parking?

We have onsite parking for 100+ vehicles; we can make special arrangements for events with over this number of vehicles.

Are pets allowed?

Yes, if they are part of the ceremony or a service animal. Pets must be leashed at all times. Details of their participation must be discussed with staff prior to the event.

Do you allow balloons?

No latex balloons. Mylar balloons are allowed, but they must not be released.

Can we have a horse drawn carriage?

Yes, we have access to this service and we can handle the special arrangements to make this happen.

Can we have just our wedding or just our reception at Dunkled Acres, or do we have to have both there?

We are glad to have you for either one or both events. If it were a wedding only, special pricing would apply.

Do we have to share the property with other events the same day?

No, we only schedule one event per day.

How much time do we have on the property for our wedding reception?

All receptions must end by midnight the day of the event.

Can we have our reception outside, instead of in the barn?

Absolutely, there are multiple locations available.

Is there a place for brides/grooms, etc. to get dressed?

We have a Bridal Dressing area with bathroom, as well as a Grooms cabin for the men to get ready.
You can bring your dress/tuxes/shoes, etc. the day before so things can be more organized the day of the wedding.

What happens if it rains the day of our outdoor wedding?

We move everything and everybody into the barn and party on!

Is there an additional charge to use the property for our wedding rehearsal?

Absolutely not, this is included in your venue charge. This does not include the rehearsal dinner.

Is there any type of decoration you don’t allow?

We don’t allow glitter, confetti, crepe paper, latex balloons or anything that would be deemed harmful to the environment.
